monday.com, the developer of the CRM platform, has unveiled its new artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, which aims to help businesses and teams manage and track their workflows more efficiently.
The strategy published by the company is built on three key principles: AI Blocks, Product Power-ups and Digital Workforce. Its goal is to “accelerate the democratisation of the power of software”. By introducing AI solutions, monday.com wants to address the challenges faced by businesses of all sizes and increase productivity by simplifying workflows.
The new AI strategies specifically target small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-market companies, enabling them to adapt and grow quickly without having to hire additional staff. According to monday.com, AI can speed up processes that are slowed down by scale at larger enterprises and Fortune 500 companies.
The company’s aim is to democratise access to AI, that is, to build a user-friendly system in which users can create, customise and use AI tools in their workflows without technical knowledge.
Daniel Lereya, Chief Product and Technology Officer at monday.com, described the company’s strategy as follows: “By embedding intelligence into the products our users already know and love, AI accelerates our mission of making the power of software accessible to everyone.”

The three key elements:
AI Blocks – customisable AI tools that can be built into workflows without technical knowledge. The AI Blocks feature includes capabilities such as “Categorise” and “Extract data”, which let users analyse data and recognise patterns in just a few clicks.
Product Power-ups – the integration of AI features into monday.com’s existing products. These developments help tackle challenges such as automating CRM data, managing resources, predictive risk analysis and resolving customer service tickets in real time.
Digital Workforce – AI-powered agents that carry out automatable tasks, including project risk analysis, identifying recurring customer complaints and speeding up stalled sales processes.
monday.com plans to launch “monday Expert” in March. It will be the first AI agent able to help onboard new users and perform certain tasks automatically.
According to the company, its AI capabilities are already having a significant impact: in 2024, monday.com users performed around 10 million AI-powered actions. The number of AI use cases nearly tripled every quarter, signalling the rapid rise of artificial intelligence within the CRM platform.
